Water droplets that fall on a smooth surface tend to form rounded drops or beads. Then, if you touch a piece of paper to the drop, water appears to move up into the paper on its own. Explain these observations in terms of the unique properties of water. I just need a couple sentences please help!!

this totally depends on adhesive and cohesive force. Cohesive force is seen between same molecules and adhesive is between 2 different kinds of molecules. So when the cohesive force is more than adhesive then it forms round drops and if adhesive is more than cohesive then moves up into the paper
