So do the teachers check to see if you copied the work from another student or can they not tell the difference?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in an flvs class of course

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is easy to check. They have sites like TurnItIn that can show if you copied it from anywhere. Also, there is usually one teacher for a group, so she/he will likely tell if it is copied

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well what if you copy someones work and just tweak it to sound like you typed it and used their ideas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you mean you switched a few words around, they'll be able to tell. If you paraphrased and used your own words, but the same idea, it'll be harder to accuse you of cheating.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright im not saying im gonna cheat im just wondering if they will know if i used other peoples ideas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nah, using people's ideas and building on them isn't bad, but copying it is. So go ahead and work safely.

sweet thanks for the help!!
