help really quick with Shapespeare's Macbeth! Which of the following is a theme from Macbeth? (10 points) Select one: a. Loyalty is built on trust. b. Ambition unchecked can lead to corruption. c. The visible is more dangerous than the invisible. d. Deception is necessary for success. teacher never asked us to read the play. so i dont know why this is a question but it is and i need help..
Have you looked at at least a summary of the play?
they had like two little quotes from the play in the lesson and that was it
Which two?
i dont remember i cant open the lesson when i have the quiz open
Well, look at the themes on Shmoop. Also, OpenStudy is not for use on quizzes or tests.
okay i wasnt looking for a direct answer. i was just asking if somebody would explain the play a little bit.
It is a hard one to just explain and I think when you read those themes you will be OK.
I think that the answer is B. ambition unchecked can lead to corruption.
is that right..?
Like I said, OS is not for quizzes, so I am not going to say. What I will say is that shmoop.com is a great resource for English and Literature classes because it has info on most of the major works they use in them.
openstudy is to help people
i am not asking you to give me a direct answer. i am asking if i am correct or not. openstudy is to help people.
what other reason is this website for?
http://openstudy.com/terms-and-conditions Read the part under "What is OpenStudy's Anti-Cheating Policy?" OpenStudy is for tutoring and homework help. It is not for use on tests, quizzes, and other forms of examination.
i am asking for homework help!
i need a quick tutor to help me understand this. that is what the site is for
and that is what i am asking for
"i dont remember i cant open the lesson when i have the quiz open" \(\leftarrow\) You said quiz. quiz = bad mojo on OS. It reallt is that simple. If one of the admis saw you doing quiz stuff, they would just suspend you for a month.
it is not cheating at all. yes i am taking a quiz. but i am not looking for a direct answer from anybody. they have the exact same question within the lesson. so just because the exact same question is in one thing and not the other then thats not okay with OS? fine then i am closing the quiz and am asking the same exact question from the lesson. now can you help? cause i am not taking the quiz anymore. i am asking for somebody to help me understand the theme of macbeth!! that is all!
It is Shakespeare, there are cons of complexity and layered themes. That is why I linked something that goes over them. There is also a summary of the play there. But trying to give you the core of a complex, 2 to 3 hour play by one of the worlds most well respected authors who was known for his depth and subtly is just not something I can do. Again, that leaves me with the link I gave you.
thank you for the link. i found it helpful. so am i understanding this correctly by saying the theme can be summarized by ambition unchecked can lead to corruption? or am i wrong and need to re-read it?
As I said before, when you look at the themes on Shmoop, you should do OK.
does that mean i understand it correctly or not??
