Yes! I agree. :) Why was the development of iron working important to civilizations? It usually coincided with the invention of farming, which led to an increase in food production. It usually allowed a society to become more permanent and settle in one location. It usually coincided with the development of more superior culture and population growth. It usually allowed a society to be more self sufficient so they did not need to rely on trade.
