Try putting this in the mathematics section. You will get more results there.

I suppose you want y(x); so you need y at the right hand side and everything else at the left hand side so to get rid of the 5x at the LHS: subtract 5x form each side after that you want to have y instead of -2y: so you'll have to divide both sides by -2 than you'll have found your desired answer
