According to the Ruler Postulate, what does the set of points on any line correspond to? A: real numbers B: natural numbers C: rational numbers D: irrational numbers

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Positive numbers are easy to picture: {* * *} = 3, but what about negative numbers? Show me -3? The answer is I can not! Unless, I use a number line and have a left and right rule: Numbers to the left of the origin are negative, and those to the right are positive. Together these numbers make-up the real numbers, and can be paired with points on a number line.
