A shredding machine can shred 20 sheets of paper in 14seconds. The bin has room for 1000 sheets. How long will it take to fill the bin if it has to stop for 3 mins after every 200 sheets?
This is what Ive got so far
takes 1.4 sec to shred 1 sheet
1000 would be 1400 sec
23 min + 12 to cool
is this correct?
The textbook says its suppose to be 23mins and 40 sec

I think you're correct because I got the same thing. I dont know where they got 40 seconds.
