For this assignment, you will create a model that shows the stages of the sliding filament theory of contraction. Your model can take many forms, including:

A written description detailing a physical model that you would create and how it represents each stage (include materials list) with a sketch or sample image
A video or animation that describes (using narration, text, etc.) each stage of the process
A drawn chart that includes labels and a written description of what happens in each stage
Another creative style of presentation or model approved by your instructor
Your model type should include all of the following:

A visual that shows the stages
Labels or a “key” for the major components (ATP, myosin, actin, etc.)
Detailed descriptions, in your own words, of what happens in each stage
Organization, clarity, and creativity
