OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's close to 9.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the only option are : 6, 13 , 78 , & 113

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well that makes no sense! http://www.mathwords.com/g/geometric_mean.htm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you for fan-ing :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe they want the product only... who knows. but they certainly don't provide the correct answer for the geometric mean on 6 and 13!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"of"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find the geometric mean of n numbers, you multiply the numbers and then take the nth root. in your example, you have 2 numbers so you'd find their product and then take the square root of the product.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thier product is 78, but that is not their geometric mean.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly but idk . i'll just put 78 & see what i get .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good luck! sorry you got a bogus question!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@pgpilot326 lol thanks .
