Check my answer please? 6=x+2/3 16=x because you multiply three by each side and you get 18=x+2. then you subtract two from each side and get the final answer, 16=x?

Well, when you multiply both sides by 3, you get: 18=3x+2

You shouldn't multiply or divide unless the "x" is being multiplied or divided. In this case, all you have to do is subtract.
