Help me please? What is an estimate of the solution of the equation, 6n+3=2? Use a table.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@JonnyVonny ??

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

Okay. So, we can solve this by using algebra. However, they want us to use a table. So, what I'd suggest is just plug in points, say x= -1, 0, 1, and get it as close to 2 as possible.

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

Is this online? Or paper HW?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Online

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

Mmk, so just do it algebraically. Get "n" alone. Tell me what you get and I'll post what I got.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what you have to do is just plug n in with any number and just see what number comes the closest to equaling 2?

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

Do you have to plug in points or is it abcd format?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug in points

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

Oh, okay.

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

Then, yeah, thats all you have to do. Just make sure that you use the points that go below 2 and after 2.

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

If you need more assistance, feel free to pm.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright, thanks

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

Or continue to post in here.
