The upswing phase. This is because spending in the economy slowly picks up because of loose monetary conditions set by the RBA. To satisfy the growing demand, firms need to increase the productions of goods and services. To do this they will require more workers in the production process. Hence, more people actively looking for work will actively find it- in other words unemployment falls.
