Please someone help me with the problem!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

2|3x-9| = 9x+3 split that into two equations : 2(3x-9) = -(9x+3) ` AND ` 2(3x-9) = 9x+3

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

solve each equation separately

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How exactly do I do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do something with the number 7 right?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

see if you can take it from here..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nk nk, i think I'm getting it.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

actually i made a mistake, corrected below take the first equation and solve it for x : 2(3x-9) = -(9x+3) distribute 2 on left side and negative on right side : 6x - 18 = -9x - 3 add 9x to both sides : 15x - 18 = -3

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

next add 18 both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

are you sure you can manage the rest ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think yeah, I'll come back if i need more help
