Which change led to a transition from the First to the Second Industrial Revolution in the United States? improvements in transportation construction of interstate highways invention of the mechanized reaper increased European immigration I want to say the last option... but I'm not really sure...
Hey, thanks for waiting, I'd be glad to help you. :) It was the improvements in transportation http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Industrial_Revolution If you go to this website you can read more on both and see what I am talking about
Thank you so much I really appreciate it. I suppose I get really mixed up since in the same sentence in my lessons and on the website too they say "The insatiable demand of the railways for more durable rail led to the development of the means to cheaply mass-produce steel. Steel is often cited as the first of several new areas for industrial mass-production, which are said to characterize a "Second Industrial Revolution," beginning around 1850." I wish I could just chose more than one option... haha. But thanks! I will fo with railroads then.
You're very welcome, glad to help :)
