Can you tell what the climate of a distant city is just by looking at one day's weather?

I don't believe so as climate is an average of meteorological data over long periods of time and one day of weather wouldn't tell you much about the climate. Weather is also quite chaotic and so it is difficult to draw much data from a single instance.
