Cells having single sets of chromosomes are called as haploid cells

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

Haploid cells are just cells with half the amount of genetic material termed (n) (germ cells- ovum, sperm). Diploid cells have twice as much genetic materials termed (2n)
