Use a calculator to estimate the values of the following limits: Lim as h-->0 of (2.7^h -1)/h AND Lim as h--> of (2.8^h -1)/h

OpenStudy (amistre64):

is h-1 all exponent, \[b^{h-1}\] or is it subtracting 1\[b^h-1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is subtracting one, not all exponent.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if we are to use a calculator, what do we get for say h=.00000001 and h = .000000001

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, so use a very small number, instead of zero, to estimate what h at zero would be? That makes sense, and I got what the book says the answer is. Thanks!!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

youre welcome :)
