Froggy loves to sit on lily pads and sun himself. When Froggy came to the pond there was only one lily pad. The number of lily pads doubled each day. After 40 days,the lily pads completely covered the pond.How long did it take the pond to be half-covered?

think about it. Every day the lily pads double. So when lily pads are half, the next day they will be double of half, which is full.
