write 432000 in scientific notation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you were to write 432000 with its decimal place it would look like this 432000. All you do for scientific notation is move that decimal place to the left until you get a number in the ones place and least 2 in the decimal place. It is hard to explain bu I will show you an example with 1300 \[1300.\] \[1.3 \times 10^3\] If that makes sense?
