OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

can someone check my answer? does the graph of the function have a horizontal or vertical tangent line, if not, why?

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

\[y=\frac{ x^2-4 }{ x+2 }\]

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

i dont think it has a vertical or horizontal tangent line because when simplified, the function is x-2 which, other than a hole at x=-2 there shouldnt be anything different about it

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

@ParthKohli @Luigi0210

Sounds good.

OpenStudy (zubhanwc3):

Thank you
