OpenStudy (lxelle):

A function is defined by g(x)= 3-2sinx, for 0 <=x<=A, where A is constant. State the largest value of A for which g has an inverse.

OpenStudy (lxelle):

Why is it 90 degrees? Is it because when we restrict the graph then ...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1412581095499:dw| this is the function graph. The inverse function would be putting this graph in vertical. So you can notice that if i restrict it to 0<x<90 it will be a function. But if i don't it will have more tan value y for same x. So it will not be a function
