does the equation 4(2x+3)=2(3x-4) have one solution no solutions or infinite solutions

You can see that there are no terms in this equation which are 'powers' of x other than 1, or roots of x or functions such as sin cos etc. In general this is known as a linear equation. If oyu multiply out the brackets on either side you will you have a simple equation in x see how many solutions it has.....
