find the domain y=14x-2

OpenStudy (aum):

Domain is all allowed values of x. Is there any restriction that we need to place on the x-value in the equation y = 14x - 2?

OpenStudy (aum):

Here, no x-value will cause problems such as division by zero or taking the square root of a negative number, etc. So there is NO restriction on the x values. So the domain is ALL real numbers. In interval notation, the domain is: (-infinity, infinity).
