what is a tetiary consumer

A tertiary consumer, is one who eats a secondary consumer. Basically, you have to know about the food chain. First, you have a PRODUCER (this can be a plant, or grass, or tree) The producer gets eaten by the PRIMARY CONSUMER (this can be an insect, for example) Then, the insect (primary consumer) gets eaten by the SECONDARY CONSUMER (this can be a frog in this example) At last, the frog is the secondary consumer, meaning it gets eaten by the TERTIARY CONSUMER (let's say it's an owl in this case) Hopefully, that makes sense. :)
