OpenStudy (hellboy24):

I have a question. Which equation illustrates the division property of equality. A. f+8=40 f+8-8+40-8 f=32 B. f divided by 8=40 f divided by 8 x 8= 40 x 8 f=320 C. f x 8=40 f x 8 divided by 8 = 40 divided by 8 f= 5 D. f-8=40 f-8+8= 40+8 f=48

im pretty sure its c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C would make the most logical sense. A and D is using the addition property of equality and subtraction property of equality. B is using division property of equality incorrectly, and therefore, C would be your best choice.
