Why do parents are like "What are you watching on youtube?" or "Who are you talking to online" or like "Stop typing or I shut down the wi-fi"?

Depends on how old you are. For example, if you are five, they probably aren't going to let you have a twitter account. If you are 16, then you have some over-protective/controlling parents. Hope this helped.

There is only a slight difference between "protective" and "over-protective". My son is 12 and I let him access the internet, but he has rules, like; not chatting to strangers or downloading anything without checking with me first. Would you rather want your parents to let you do whatever you want to, no matter what? This is a trick question.
