medal g(x)= 5+2x/3+x. find g(x+5).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so the equation is g(x)= 5+2x/3+x they want you to see what y will be when x is x+5. So substitute x for x+5.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay i got 2 different answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5+2(x+5)/3+(x+5) 5+2x+10/3+(x+5) 2x+15 / 8+x should be your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what did you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x+15/x+8 and \[2-1/x+8\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

... how did you get the other one? There is only one solution I believe because there is not radical. Did they want you to find another solution, because it's just one solution.
