His dad obviously doesn't want to deal with the fact that his brother has passed. Jose should talk to his dad about the good times the dad and his brother had together. And how life is short and we should cherish every moment. I think once they get to talking, Jose can get it out of him....I am just rambling....this is just my thoughts
