A particular strain of bacteria triples in population every 15 minutes. Assuming you start with a 120 bacteria in a petri dish, how many bacteria will there be in 1 hour?

it is simply a case of tripling the population 4 times |dw:1412707022128:dw| when you get the new population, multiply it by 3 every 15 mins... just continue the process upto 60 mins = 1 hour
