Which of the following points is in the solution set of y < x2 - 4x + 3? (-3, 0) (1, 0) (2, -1)

a and b are correct :P

Put the points into the equation and solve to see if it makes sense. ie. (-3,0) = (x, y) y < x2 - 4x + 3 0 < -3*2 - 4*-3 + 3 0 < (-6) - (-12) + 3 (I just put brackets so you can see) 0 < 9 Indeed, 9 is bigger than 0, so that point works.
