the equation y- 100 x =2000 can be used to represent the monthly salary of a salesman, y, when he sells x computer systems. What is a salesman's monthly salary if he sells no computers? Thank You Very Much!

Can you help @icecream_nerd ?

i THINK its A not sure though , sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No worries :) Do you know why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this may sound stupid but , if you divided 2000 by 100 you will get 20 , thats what he gets when he sells nothing , which practically means he sells 100 computer systems earning 2000 dollars each month , each computer is 20 .. it isnt logical though .. if he sold nothing why would he get paid ?
