what is set builder notation?

OpenStudy (jackky):

How to describe a set by saying what properties its members have. set A Set is a collection of things (usually numbers). Example: {5, 7, 11} is a set. But we can also "build" a set by describing what is in it. Here is a simple example of set-builder notation: Set Builder Notation It says "the set of all x's, such that x is greater than 0". In other words any value greater than i think its like that because idk how to xplain it sorry but thxs

okay so first you have to simplify the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2(3x+7) >-14 simplify the beginning and you should get something like -6x-14>-14
