OpenStudy (anonymous):

here's the answer: -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but can you help explain :)

OpenStudy (donblue22):

Please do not just give answers it is against the CoC

OpenStudy (donblue22):

First you would subtract 7 from each side.

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

15 = -4p +7 -7 -7 _____________ 8 = -4p divide both sides by -4 and get... 2 = p

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

sorry-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh! thank you so much:D

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

remember the equal sign is there to tell you that the left is equal to the right. you can move, i say move but really we're subtracting and adding or multiplying or dividing from one side but you have to remember to do it to the other side as well.

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

just keep doing that and you'll isolate the variable and solve the problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Donblue22 Sorry...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you for explaining but i have more i don't understand :D
