The width of a rectangle is 6 in. less than its length. The perimeter is 68 in. What is the width of the rectangle? (In inches.)

So pretty much (a little shortcut I always do) is take \(\sf \large \color{magenta}{6~+~6}\) then take the answer to that, and subtract it with 68
And then after that you divide that answer by 2
\(\sf \large \color{magenta}{6~+~6~=~b}\) \(\sf \large \color{magenta}{68~-~b~=~c}\) \(\sf \large \color{magenta}{c\backslash2~=~}\color{black}{your~answer}\)
okay then: 6+6+28+28=68 68=68 the answer would be 28.
