Sorry, was busy. Anyways, City on a Hill was originally from a sermon given by Jesus, which basically meant that anything placed above it's surroundings is going to be seen. Contrastly, American Exceptionalism is the ethnocentric belief that Americans have different qualities from the rest of the world.
