What are the similarities and differences of the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution?

Can't recall any similarities off the top of my head right now, but the Articles of Confederation had a weak central government. While the Constitution held a strong one.

Which means that the AoC was for a confederation, where the states were far more independent, and only occasionally worked together politically to accomplish overarching, banal goals. The Const. is for a federal system that had a stronger central government with peripheral governments of almost equal but different powers, so that the union of America wouldn't fall apart as it had under the AoC
