Sam needs to fill up a box with packaging material. Use the picture below to calculate the volume of the box.
hint: Volume = Width * Length * Height |dw:1412739255364:dw|
@spencerbeymer same procedure as before, this time using three factors to find the volume ;) give it a try!
(2x+3)(x-3)(x+3)=?
@kl0723 do i split this into 3 equations to solve? 2x+3=0 x-3=0 x+3=0 ? @jim_thompson5910
@vvn @boricua5 @Nanalew @NotAshamed @myininaya
how to solve would be to do exactly as @kl0723 ; (2x+3)(x-3)(x+3)=? you would combine (using like terms) to find x after you find x, you would then plug x in to each problem of 2x+3, x-3, and x+3 after you find the numbers to the set, you would them use them numbers to find the volume of the shape volume formula for this shape would be Volume = Width * Length * Height

@spencerbeymer your volume would just be the product of (2x+3)(x+3)(x+3)... that expression is equal to the volume of the box. give it a try and let me know if u need help :)
@kl0723 when simplifying (2x+3)(x+3)(x+3) would i be using the FOIL rules? i always mix up which order i am supposed to multiply first
you can do first (x+2)(x-3)= something then muliply that times the other one which is (2x+3)
Volume =
