OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

@amistre64 If a triangle had a circumscribed circle with a radius of a and an inscribed circle with a radius of b, how are these triangles similar?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

but there is no two triangles in your q

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

I only see one triangel and two cicle

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

its only 1 triangle with an inscribed and circumscribed circle.

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

how are the inscribed and circumscribed circles similar ?

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

from the same triangle..

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

simile circles? I thought all circles are similar

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

this is so confusing.

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

@amistre64 ?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

all circles have a common ratio: pi = C/d which to me is the definition of similarity, a common ratio of like parts

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

so they are similar because of that ? or they arent similar cuz they have to have the same radius..
