Let the function f(x) have the property that f′(x)=(x+1)/(x−3). If g(x)=f(x^2) FIND g′(x).

OpenStudy (gorv):

\[g'(x)=f' (x^2)*2x\]

OpenStudy (gorv):

now we need f ' (x^2)

OpenStudy (gorv):

so replace x by x^2 in f ' (x)

OpenStudy (gorv):

f ' (x^2)= \[\frac{ x^2+1 }{ x^2-3 }\]

OpenStudy (gorv):

now put this value in g ' (x) that is our solution
