The Monroe Doctrine expressed the idea that new countries should be allowed to develop without interference from stronger nations. In your opinion, does the United States still follow this policy? Do you think that such a policy should be followed in the modern world?

i didnt know this but my dad said the Monroe Doctrine, which spelled out that these nations, those of the Western Hemisphere, should develop without inference or warfare from European powers. The Doctrine says nothing about US support and protection
