How does conservation help to reduce air pollution?

Conservation is the act of guarding, preserving and protecting. It would reduce air pollution because in general it would want to stop what is polluting the earth in the first place.
In many cases there are areas where factories, homes, shops ect. are not allowed in order to keep it preserved. So for air pollution there are also rules about how much pollution you can put into the air (depending on the area and their laws).
