lol. just use the order of operations man. You start off with parenthesis which was -8 and -5 later. then start multiplying what needs to be multiplied. 3 * -8, then whatever that equals multiplied by -5. Then you can go ahead and subtract 2 from the product you arrived at. Its all just order of operations.

-31

it helps to put parens around what you do first. multiply before add/subtract so do this (3 • –8) – (2 • –5)

refresh your browser if that is not readable.

that's what I did an I got that

can you show the steps?

well I did -8 then all of that and I did -5 then did all that

can you add more info what did you get for (3 • –8) what did you get for (2 • –5) ?

wgot for (3 . -8) =-24 (2 .5) = -10

just give me the answer I dont have al day this ends in 2 minuets

laggon hlp me

(3 . -8) - (2 .-5) -24 - -10 what is -24 - -10 notice the double minus sign

I got -34

I am also using the calculator and paper I got 24

no, - -10 is + 10

so -24 - -10 becomes -24 + 10
