Can someone help me find the variance given the standard deviation?

variance is the standard deviation squared.
So, if the standard variation is for a data set is 3.7, the variance is 13.69? But the answer choices are Value < 30="" /> Value > 30 The value is equal to 30. The value is greater than 30.
so less than 30?
