The length of a rectangle is 12 in. more than its width. The perimeter is 64 in. What is the length of the rectangle?

you would set up an well the rectangle has 2 sets of parallel sides so you would divide by 2 and get 32. Divide by 2 again and get 16. 16in is the height. then that mean that the length is 32.
