Two things that are different about the Syrian war include that it is still going on right now, and the root of the conflict is from disagreements over religion. Two things that were only true in the war that happened between England and its colonists were that that this war is already over, and the root of the conflict came from a raise in taxes, rather than from disagreements about religion.
