A train travels 20 feet in 1/5 second. At this same speed, how many feet will it travel in three seconds

OpenStudy (gorv):

welcome to OS :)

OpenStudy (gorv):

first calculate speed

OpenStudy (gorv):

speed=distance /time

OpenStudy (gorv):

\[speed=\frac{ 20 }{ \frac{ 1 }{ 5 } }=20*5=100feet/\sec\]

OpenStudy (gorv):

so in 1 second = 100 feet in 3 second = 100*3=??
