The main idea of titanic would be The film describes the story of Jack and Rose, two lovers from radically different circumstances, who fall in love during the maiden voyage of the ship Titanic and who tragically sink with the ship. This is just an example of a main idea, i dont know how to really explain it, but maybe this helped a little?
