5/6 divided by 2/7? how do i solve this.

dividing fractions...

when dividing fractions, you " flip " what you are dividing by, then multiply. But make sure you flip the right number.

5/6 divided by 2/7 .... flip what you are dividing by, then multiply
5/6 * 7/2 -- see how I flipped the 2/7 and it became 7/2 .. now multiply
35/12 when turned to a mixed number = 2 11/12

any questions ? And just to let you know, if you don't already, if you have a whole number ... like 17...it is the same as 17/1... just in case you had to flip a whole number ....and the 17/1 would become 1/17.
