write an equation for the line through the point (10,3) with slope -6 in slope intercept form y=mx+b y =?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well so far you know that the equation looks like thsi y = -6x + b plug n the coordinate given to you and then solve for b and once you have b , replace it in the origninal equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so for this what you want to do is plug your values into your linear equation to solve for b. your point is in the form (x,y), so plug your x value into the x place and your y value into the y place in your equation. for m, you use the slope you've been given. solve for b, then put it all together.

3=-60+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it y=-60+63
