First) No good. Reverse inequality when multiplying or dividing by a negative number. How did you conclude what you marked?

-2x-3 > 21
First move 3 to the other side so you get
-2x > 21 + 3
-2x > 24
Now remember when you divide a inequality by a negative you have to reverse the symbol.

It is simple if you will look at this example: You very well know :
\(5 > 3\)

Now multiply both by \(-1\), and if you write : \(-5 > -3\), then you will be wrong because \(-5< -3\)

So, when you divide or multiply by \(-\), you have to reverse the sign of inequality..

Lol, it's not your computer, the OS system has its own filter when people use curse words, so you saying craps synonym made it pellet.

Check this out. Do NOT multiply or divide by anything.

-x > 5

Add x

0 > x + 5

Subtract 5

-5 > x

Without having to REMEMBER anything, we see exactly why those silly negtives reverse things.
